I was looking at some pictures from a sweet 16 I recently shot. Here are some of my favorites!!

I am currently looking for some fresh faces for my next ad campaign and for my portfolio!! Can your child be the next fresh face!! Great prizes will be awarded to all contest winners!!

Basically here is how it works –

The contest is divided into 3 groups -

Group 1 is the babies group-Newborn to 1 year.
Group 2 is the toddler group-1 year to 5 years
Group 3 is the kid group-5 years to 10 years

All 3 groups will have a 1st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place winner and there will also be

1 ULTIMATE GRAND PRIZE WINNER!

Pictures of your child will be posted on my blog at www.joesanphoto.com and there will be an area for voting to take place on the picture! I will then send you an email with a link to voting page so you can share it with your family and friends so that they can vote!!

The ultimate grand prize winner will be chosen by myself and 2 other judges and will be picked from all of the images received no matter what group they belonged to and will appear in my next ad campaign!

THE RULES

Submit a Non Professional Photo to info@joesanphoto.com by March 1st 2009; voting will take Place from March 1st – March 13th. Winning Sessions must take place within 30 days from the end of the contest. Please put FRESH FACES in the subject line of the email. The picture must be current, taken within the past 2 months. Please include the child’s name and age, as well as your contact info. Twins are welcome to enter as well. No real names will be used online, each entrant will be numbered.

There will be 1 (one) Ultimate Grand Prize winner picked from all of the images and will be picked by myself and 2 other judges.

The free session each winner will receive is for the winner only, family and siblings can be added for an additional fee, all winning packages will be of the entrant only and any other additional prints ordered will be billed at the Fresh Faces Rate.

* One winner and two runners up will be chosen.
* You can enter one photo per child for each child in your family. Only non-professional photos will be accepted.
* By entering, you are agreeing that Joe Sanfilippo Photography has permission to use the photograph.
* Joe Sanfilippo Photography takes no responsibility for copyrighted images submitted to the contest, and will not publish any copyright image.
* Joe Sanfilippo Photography reserves the right to disqualify or deny an entry at his discretion.
* The child entered can be from anywhere, but must be willing to travel within a thirty mile radius of Bethpage, NY.
* A signed model release will be required to receive a prize. The purpose of this contest is to find a “fresh face” for use in promotional and marketing materials.
* You will be entitled to special pricing.
* This session is just for one winner of the contest, not siblings. Unless the entry are twins. Should you wish to add older/younger siblings, there will be a $15 additional fee per sibling. Any and all prints provided for the winner will only showcase the winner, not the siblings. Sibling images must be purchased separately, however all sibling purchases will be automatically awarded the special pricing.
* All winning sessions will last up to 1 hour. Joe Sanfilippo Photography will have complete creative control and will guide the winner in what to wear. Both Studio Style Shots and On Location shots will take place.
* Gift Certificates will expire 6 months after the end of this contest, and cannot be used in combination with any other special offer from Joe Sanfilippo Photography.
* Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for Cash.
* Special Pricing will only be available for 60 days after the end of the contest.
* Groups are subject to change (example, if only one enters in group 1, that entrant will be added to the closest age group available)
* All Entrants must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian, or have parents permission to enter the child.
* Discount Pricing is 50% off Print Prices and 25% off books and canvas.

*Entrant photos will not be used for the ad campaign – Winner will have new photos taken by Joe Sanfilippo Photography for marketing purposes.

Shot a wedding yesterday, it was a lot of fun although it wasn’t your traditional wedding. The Bride and groom already got married in the islands and just wanted to have a reception here with the family. No bridal party, no big white dress, no big limos – just a nice simple day at a real nice hall – The venue was beautiful and everyone seemed to have a blast. I got to take some great pictures!

Haven’t been doing too much with the blog, just decided to start it from scratch. I have been so busy lately and havent had the time, the launch of my new website www.joesanphoto.com, Ive been very busy responding to inquires and shooting. I will be keeping up with this blog allot more regularly, so keep coming back!
