Long Island Wedding Photographer – Joe Sanfilippo Photography »

I knew when I shot Amanda and Kurts engagement photos that I would have an awesome time shooting their wedding. Everything about this wedding cool, the couple was awesome, the bridal party as awesome, lighting was great, and it was at one of my favorite venues!

I started off at a local hotel to get some shots of Amanda getting ready and to catch some detail shots.

Kurt also sent these roses to Amanda (the ceremony was on a boat dock)

Before we left the hotel for the west sayville country club, I wanted to take a few shots in the hotel lobby -

Then while I was at the hotel, my second shooter Brian Calabrese, was taking shots with guys. Here is one of the MANY gorgeous shots he got that day.

on the way to the ceremony I caught this photo of the girls. I LOVE this shot. So much personality in this photo!

I love that West Sayville Country Club has the ceremony on a boat dock!

During the ceremony – this enormous flock of birds came flying overhead, it was moving so fast, it was difficult to get a shot of it, but i  think it made for an awesome photo!

I couldnt wait for this wedding! I went to high school with the grooms brother so I knew I would see some old friends. I had a complete blast at this wedding and loved every minute of it!!

I had Brian Calabrese Photography come down and set up a photo booth for this wedding, we had a real good time with that and I am really excited to offer this to all of my clients!

The wedding was at the Milleridge cottage in Jericho, I have shot here so many times it has become one of my favorite locations!

What an awesome wedding! Katharine and Justin could not have picked a better day or a better location! Caramoor is absolutely gorgeous! It was nice to photograph a wedding up in westchester and get out of Long Island for a day.

The venue was great and the caterer really did everything top notch. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and the reception in a huge tent!

Jordan is an old friend from high school. We havent seen eachother in probably 15 years. Who would have ever thought I would be photographing his wedding this fall???  Crazy how things happen!! Gotta love facebook- We probably would have never been in touch if it wasnt for facebook..  I am really looking forward to the wedding and cant wait to get some more photos of him and his awesome fiance Kristi!

We recently did an engagement session with Kristi and Jordan over in Brightwaters on the south shore of Long Island. I never thought of doing a shoot there, but I am glad we did. I can totally recommend the location to anyone looking for a local spot for great photos! Good call on choosing Brightwaters Kristi!!
