Rosa and Darwin are an amazing couple! I cannot wait to photograph their Long Island wedding this year! It is going to be awesome!

We shot the engagement session in central park on probably the hottest – Humid day of the year. It was pretty awesome though becasue the park was EMPTY! I have shot in central park so many times and i have never seen it so empty before. Even though we were melting, I think we got some amazing photos and had a really good time getting to know this couple more. After the session we headed on down to Juniors and had an awesome dinner! What a great time!!

I lost count of how many times we had to reschedule Peggy and Jims Engagement session. The weather just did not want to cooperate with our beach shooting plans!! The day we finally pick out is gorgeous, a perfect summer day – Then as I drive out to Long Beach, the clouds start getting darker and darker   — So instead of rescheduling we decided to make the best of it and had our shoot – Turned out to be an awesome session, we had the beach to ourselves and we were lucky enough to stay dry with no rain! 

Long Island is filled with so many awesome locations to have a photo session. Port Jefferson is one of my favorites- I love the little alley’s and marina. The nice thing about port jefferson is, you can shoot here just about any time of year. Yes, it may be a little cold in the winter to be shooting by the water, but the village is really set up nice for the holidays!

Tara and Dan are an amazing couple! They are totally made for eachother and they are extremely comfortable in front of the camera! Their first date was in port jefferson so it was fitting to have their engagement session here, the wedding isnt going to be too far either – We’ll be photographing theie wedding at Flowefield in St. James, NY this fall, so stay tuned for those wedding photos! They are going to be AMAZING!

I really had a hard time picking out photos for the blog – I truly loved every photo from this session!

I love the beach!! It is actually one of my favorite things about living here on long island. I have been spending so much time at the beach lately, not only photographing awesome couples – but with my 3 year old son! He is loving the beach right now, and it is awesome since last year we could barely get him on the sand.

No matter how many times I shoot engagement sessions on the beach it never gets old. I always have an amazing time hanging out on a beach for a few hours with awesome couples! Good times!!

When I look back on these photos and see these amazing sunsets –  All I can say is I Love my job as a photographer!
